Promotional Umbrella
Now putting all of this aside, the reason I decided to write a review
after all, is because I am left with a floppy looking - bent to almost
broken umbrella after only using it three times. Well the good news is
the wind does not flip over my umbrella but instead the shaft is bending
just a few inches above the thing you use to click it open, the only
reason it has not broken off completely is because the fiberglass tends
to bend rather than break. The area where it bends is sort of shredded
where I can see the silver metal thing on the inside and I have to use
my other hand to hold it at that point just to keep it from completely
flopping over. This is quite inconvenient when you need the other hand
to carry additional things. I suspect that by the next time I try using
it, it will completely break off. So after all of this I was either sent
a defective umbrella OR the product is just no good. Now even if I had
the option of returning it to at least try a replacement, it will be
too much of a hassle of having to pay more than the cost of the umbrella
itself to ship it back to Brooklyn and so forth. Thanks Nike, I now
feel like I own a very expensive piece of junk, and I look like a prized
idiot in front of my husband for saying that it would well be worth the
money spent...so much for that idea. I now wish I had spent the 90
bucks on a pair of running shoes as I've never regretted buying a Nike
product until now. I'm curious to know if anyone else had the same
problem!
