Raines By Totes Umbrella

Raines By Totes Umbrella

As I'm allergic to sunlight (solar urticaria) and live in the Caribbean, I was quite happy to receive my Nike UV Windproof Umbrella even after all the drama of getting it to my home. By drama I mean that I had it shipped to Brooklyn at my sister-in-law's address as my husband was there for a a few days, but it arrived the afternoon of the day of my husband's departure. So instead of my umbrella costing me US27.99 + US9.00 dollars handling and shipping to Brooklyn, I ended up paying an additional US38.00 dollars to have it shipped to Barbados and when it arrived here I was charged US16.00 dollars in duties to get it out of Customs. So, I ended up with an umbrella that cost me US90.99 dollars (which BTW is approximately 181.98 in my currency of Barbados dollars). My husband was not pleased with the fact that it ended up costing this much for an umbrella since I can purchase a regular one here in Barbados for about US7.00-10.00 dollars. But, after all of that I was still happy to have received my UV Windproof umbrella as I figured those attributes would have made it well worth the cost (as one knows how easy those regular umbrellas tend to flip over when even a mild wind blows & any additional help with protection from the sun is a plus).
